Attachment parenting supports all types of education choices and recognises that many parents wish to educate their children at home. Since school help is readily available on the internet, APCA provides information on home education for those parents that choose it.

    The Attachment Parenting of Edmonton Society is very excited to host a full day workshop with David Albert, homeschooling author and father of two grown homeschooled children. As the original publisher of well-known authors such as John Holt and Marshall Rosenburg, David is a passionate supporter of homeschooling families and their choices. David will be speaking on "Dismantling the inner school", "Who is your child?", "The curriculum of beauty", and "The tenth intelligence". The workshop will take place at Providence Renewal Center on Saturday November 5 from 8:30 am until 4:15 pm and tickets are $60 including lunch.     Home Schooling Consultations


    We provide email, telephone or in-person, private, confidential consultations on Alberta Home Education. We provide personalized service and integrate the family lifestyle, parenting philosophy, and parents' personalities with the child's temperament, personality and learning style to come up with several options in homeschooling programs. Our fee is $75.00 for a 30 minute telephone consultation, $150.00 for a 60 minute telephone or email consulation or $199.00 for a two-hour in-person consultation.
